For every space and every client, Alicia’s highest goal is to create livable, meaningful interiors filled with beauty, harmony and the spirit of the individuals who inhabit them.

Alicia Kinloch Interior Design is a full-service design firm specializing in residential interiors. A formative background in fine arts and theater lead Alicia first to study at NYU’s prestigious Tisch School of the Arts for film & TV. However, a lifelong love of interiors and architecture brought her to her true calling and she completed her education at the Rhode Island School of Design with a focus in interior design.

For over a decade Alicia worked with interior and architectural design firm Elias Associates as head of the interiors department. During her time there the firm was published in numerous national and international shelter magazines, was named one of NY Spaces top 50 design firms, and was featured in Vladimir Kagan’s book A Life of Avante-Garde Design.

Alicia brings her artistic sensibility to every space, creating inspired rooms that incorporate everything from bespoke furnishings and unique designer pieces to offbeat accents and inexpensive finds. She has a keen eye for detail and a comprehensive knowledge of architecture and construction. She has a deep reverence for the beauty of natural materials and the play of color and texture in a room. Alicia strives to create interiors that are warm, expressive and dynamic.

In every project, Alicia listens closely to her clients and takes an individualized approach incorporating the lifestyle and character of the homeowner. Every client is assured a collaborative and personalized experience. She works to understand and support her clients' vision, whether that’s a specific aesthetic or the vibe of a space, gently pushing them to explore new ideas to elevate the final expression.

Rather than adhering to a single design style or period, Alicia's body of work is unified by a quality of craftsmanship, freshness and chic sophistication that reflects the unique sensibilities of her clientele.
